Night Crawler - Rollerblade, 5k, 10k, or bike ride

This is a fun run/walk/bike ride/rollerblade event in Rochester,  Minnesota.

The twist is that this event occurs at night. The roller bladers/runners/walkers course will start  from a The Little Thistle Brewery and follow a paved bike trail around  Cascade Lake which offers a fantastic night view of the Rochester's city  skyline. 5k is one lap and 10k is two laps around the lake.

The bikes will head north on the bike trail to Douglas and then return to the start (13 miles total). However you can ride as far or as little as you want. The bikers will receive a ticket for free Apple Pie shot at the Douglas Saloon.

All participants are required to wear headlamps, and cyclists please use  headlights and taillights.  Glow-in-the-dark, LED lights and light-up  costumes are welcomed and encouraged.

ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome.... bring your kids, bring your dogs, bring your headphones.... all are welcome!

At the finish line there will bonfires, s'mores, live music, micro brews and more!  The first 100 to register will receive a Little Thistle Identity Crisis Pint and ALL runners will receive free s'mores, live music and there will be a food truck available for purchases.

This event is a fundraiser for the Rochester BANDITS Hockey Development Programs, a non-profit organization with set goals of providing all of ALL kids of ALL skill levels and ages a safe environment to learn how to play hockey and develop into better players during the off season. The  Night Crawler will take place regardless of ANY weather. Rain, snow, hail nor a hurricane will stop the Night Crawler!  *** there are no refunds because of weather cancellation as result of spent preparation costs (insurance, rentals, supplies, staffing, permits, fees)

Event details and schedule

There will be on-site registration but it is more expensive. Onsite registration is $25 for runners/riders/rollerbladers. $15 for 1 mile walkers.

There will be limited parking in the brewery parking lot and when the  main parking lot fills up there will be road-side parking and overflow parking.

Make sure to wear a headlamp or bike lights and bring a hoodie or something warm to wear after the run.

The "official group" start time is 8:00pm but if you cannot make at  that time it is OK..... you can start your run/ride/blade anytime from 2:00pm until 9:00pm.

Again... They main start time will be 8:00pm but we will be set up and ready to welcome runners/walkers/bikers from  2:00pm - 9:00pm
