About the event
This is a fun run/walk/bike ride/rollerblade event in Rochester, Minnesota.
The twist is that this event occurs at night. The course will start from a brewery and the runners will follow a paved bike trail around Cascade Lake which offers a fantastic night view of the Rochester's city skyline. The bikes and rollerbladers will head north on the bike trail toward Douglas, Minnesota and then return to the start.
We require all participants to wear headlamps, and cyclists to use headlights and taillights. Glow-in-the-dark, LED lights and light-up costumes are welcomed and encouraged.
ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome.... bring your kids, bring your dogs, bring your headphones.... all are welcome!
At the finish line there will bonfires, s'mores, micro beer and more! The first 100 to register will receive Night Crawler swag and ALL runners will receive free s'mores, live music and there will be a food truck available.
This event is a fundraiser for BANDITS Hockey Development Programs. Which is a non-profit with the goal of providing all players of ALL skill levels and ages a safe environment to play hockey and develop during the off season.
The Night Crawler will take place regardless of ANY weather... we will hold this event in the rain, in the snow and even in a hurricane! *** there is no refunds because of weather cancellation because of the costs (apparel, insurance, rentals, supplies, staffing, fees) for the run have been used ***
Event details and schedule
There will be on-site registration but it is more expensive and you are not guaranteed BANDIT Night Crawler swag (however there will still be smores, bonfires and live music for you at the finish).
There will be limited parking in the brewery parking lot and when the main parking lot fills up there will be road-side parking and overflow parking.
Make sure to wear a headlamp or bike lights and bring a hoodie or something warm to wear after the run.
